So it was on a chilly day in January, 2016 that our Epilog Helix was delivered. Ho boy - that thing was a monster! It came on a truck on a pallet and a second pallet for the filtration system. There was a brief Laurel and Hardy moment when my sister and I attempted to bring The Beast inside and kew it was just not gonna happen. I needed reinforcements...
My son isn't particularly big, but he is super strong, and (usually) loves his mom . . . So, a quick text to Sebastian and his Popeye arms got us squared away indoors where it was nice and warm.
You would think it was just a matter of plugging that sucker in and away we go . . . Well, okay, I would think that. I was wrong . . .
Thank God for little sisters - Kari figured out all the right wires and connections and settings, and before long had the computer and the laser speaking to each other.
So now we're totally good to go, right? Just push "Go"? Ummm . . .no.
